California!!!

No title - making a free slideshow

Shaine and I took a much needed break and ran off on vacation this past weekend.
It was fabulous.

First we went to six flags - no pictures of this, we were riding the rides!
We were almost first in line at the gates waiting for the park to open and when it did, we booked it to X2. I almost died of an asthma attack but we made it to the front of the ride and we were on the first run! :) It is my favorite ride! After we got that one out of the way we went on a rapid ride... I never get more than a little wet on these, but this time every inch of my body was soaked... Shaine was not enthused. The rest of the rides were practically empty, we walked on to every one but Tatsu which was about a 15 minute wait. It was wonderful.

Then on Saturday we hung out on the beach, worked on our tans, attempted to boogie board...
It was chilly, but that didn't stop us. We just lounged most of the day and then went to the restaurant that Shaine's sister Brittany manages. It was great food and it was wonderful to hang out with her as we don't get to see her that often.
